Opening Up

Tuesday 10. march

While Eleonor was at the first Magnolia board meeting, the rest of us had a spontaneous session about the previous day and why we thought we had been so low. The session started by a confrontation between Kim and Kasper in a discussion of weather or not somethings were not allowed to be said in relation to Marinas role. Lukas asked into the issue and the discussion was
turned into a dialog where we all shared our personal state of mind. It turned out that the previous day also had been colored by our personal issues. The honest dialog aspired a new sense of motivation and was also team building. The low mode on Monday was also caused by uncertainties of the leader role. What kind of mandate did Eleonor have and how much leadership was she willing to take?

We followed up on Marinas role and what we wished it to be. Marina had sent an e-mail to Eleonor where she had written down our agenda for the meeting with Sohu and also given us homework. We found it a bit strange that she had done that, since she is not our leader or teacher. But maybe it was just about language? If she would have used a KP language maybe we wouldn't have reacted at all. However, Marinas role has confused some of us and made some
of us really frustrated. Will we confront her, or will we work with her and practice our skills of working with someone from another culture?

Kasper and Lukas made a mock up of the project time. Kim researched on Sohu, Rickhard prepared a slide show and a presentation about KP for the meeting with Sohu on Thursday.

Lukas facilitated a 2 hour process on our learning goals. This session brought us closer and was good for our preject because we learned what we each were motivated for, what we wanted to learn and how we all could support each other in achieving our goals.
